Sam Frize Wildlife Photographer

Sam has travelled extensively throughout Kenya, Cuba, India and the waters around Spitzbergen. The quality of her work was rewarded with a semi-finalists position in the 2008 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. She has just returned from Kenya  – a trip 5 years in the making.

Photographing wildlife is the only time that I am patient. It can take hours if not days following a female cheetah and her cubs to achieve the right shot in the best light. Even then, luck plays a huge role in taking the ultimate image.

Wildlife photography is my passion

Wildlife Photographer Sam Frize lives on the Isle of Man and specialises in African wildlife photography, specifically of animals in their natural habitat. Lions, leopards, cheetah, elephant, hyena, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra and hippo all play a huge part in her photographic library.
